Rio Films was developed in 2000 for the sole purpose of creating powerful, enriching, family-friendly nature films that take audiences on new and exciting exploration. We plan to produce films known for their stunning visuals and creative storytelling.

Rio Films is committed to the production of nature documentaries that educate as well as entertain audiences of all ages. It is hoped that the content of any Rio Films documentary will inspire a young viewer to take an interest in the natural world around them, consider career possibilities in the environmental sciences, and/or perhaps educational or entertaining media production.
